Unfortunately there are items we cannot repair:

• Microwaves
• Televisions
• Electric Blankets
• Printers
• Sewing machines, unless very basic cleaning (not a service or resetting of functions)
• Watches (we may consider repairs to some straps).
• Tools for sharpening (Ilminster Home Hardware provides this service).
• Items that have a faulty lithium battery (it’s too costly to check they work unless we already have a battery).
• Dangerous things, such as chainsaws and brush cutters.
• Dirty things – that will need cleaning, descaling, etc, before they can be repaired.
• Petrol-powered items.
• Items that will not easily fit in the back of an average car.
• Zips on heavy or thick fabrics.
